Woman Missing From Lebanon Found Safe, Police Say

Bernice Amenu has been found safe and is being "reconnected with family," the Lebanon City Police announced on Monday, May 8, 2023. 

ORIGINAL:

A 71-year-old woman with "diminished mental capacity" has gone missing from her Lebanon City home, police say. 

Lebanon City Police are looking for Bernice Amenu of Lebanon City, she was last seen in the 700 block of North 8th Street on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at approximately 4:30 p.m.

She is approximately 5'5" tall, weighing, approximately 170 lbs., and has brown and gray hair, according to the police release on Monday, May 8, 2023.

She may be wearing a brown leather jacket and black pants, as detailed in the release. 

"She is believed to be on foot and may frequent local convenience stores," the police explained.
